Piper High School has an opening for an instructional coach for the 25-26 school year. Applications will be accepted through June 2.

Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree (Masters Degree preferred)
- Hold a valid Kansas teaching license with 6-12 endorsement.
- Minimum 5 years of experience of teaching with a record of successfully impacting student achievement.

Demonstrated knowledge of high-impact instructional practices.

Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.

Ability to build trusting, collaborative relationships with teachers and staff.

Experience with data analysis and curriculum planning is a plus.
Base salary: $50,000 commensurate with experience and education based on the salary schedule in the Piper Teachers Association Negotiated Agreement. Full single health insurance paid.
Job Goal: The instructional coach supports teachers in improving instructional practices that enhance student learning and academic achievement. This role involves providing professional development, modeling effective teaching strategies, facilitating data-driven decision-making, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Essential Job Functions:

Collaborate with teachers to develop effective instructional strategies aligned with state standards and district goals.

Facilitate professional development sessions, workshops, and PLCs (Professional Learning Communities).

Observe classroom instruction and provide non-evaluative, constructive feedback.

Assist teachers in analyzing student data to inform instruction and improve outcomes.

Support the implementation of differentiated instruction and inclusive teaching practices.

Serve as a resource for integrating technology, literacy strategies, and content-area best practices.

Partner with school leadership to identify instructional priorities and develop school-wide improvement plans.

Maintain current knowledge of educational research, pedagogy, and curriculum trends.
